To pack an everyday purse for teen girls, start by packing a small makeup bag filled with lotion, lip balm, and cosmetics in case you need to touch up during the day. Then, put together a small toiletry kit with items like tissues, tampons, pads, and hand sanitizer.

• Choose lightweight and portable camping gear. Use a backpacking tent rather than a camping tent because it weighs less and packs conveniently on the outside top of your pack. Attach your sleeping bag, pad, blanket and pillow to the outside bottom of your backpack to allow for more interior room.

• Paper. Paper trays or magazine holders work nicely for scrapbook paper. I cut a cat litter box to look like a magazine...
• Binders. I have binders with page protectors to organize sticks and letters. The letters are sorted by color.

• Loosen all of your straps slightly to make the pack easier to slip on.
• Tilt your pack to an upright position on the ground.
• Stand next to the back panel; have your legs well apart and knees bent.
• Grab the haul loop (the webbing loop at the top of the back panel on your pack).
• Lift and slide the pack up to your thigh and let it rest; keep your hand on the haul loop for control.
• Slip your other arm and shoulder through one shoulder strap until your shoulder is cradled by the padding.
• Lean forward and swing the pack onto your back. Now slip the hand that was holding the haul loop through the other shoulder strap.
• Buckle up and make your usual fit adjustments.

Conduct regular maintenance of your backpack to keep it organized. Use a pencil case for school materials. Use smaller boxes or bags to hold your extra pencils, pens, erasers, or other items. Always put your water bottle in one of the outer pockets, incase it leaks and ruin all your papers.

For instance, an organizer like a purse file will keep multiple handbags in line. You can also store bags vertically on a door with a rack. This is a great space-saving method of storing totes and handbags. Holders designed for other items can work for handbags as well.

Take everything out of your school bag, even if you know that you need it. Make sure all of the pockets are empty too. Throw out all the trash, crumpled up pieces of paper, old pencil stubs, and expired bus passes. You can’t organize your school pack if it’s full of junk.

Hooks are an easy way to store bags if the layout of your space allows for them. You can place hooks on doors, with the inside of a closet door being a prime spot. You also can mount hooks in a row on the wall to keep your bags visible and within easy reach.
